Performing Constructive Maintenance Audits ...

An audit of any sort, is of very little use if not performed in a constructive manner.  Just recording events and offering an analysis without the benefit of sound solutions is counter productive for a maintenance operation.  This is why RMS International, Inc. offers a constructive maintenance audit.  Not only do we discover what goes on in the inner workings of a maintenance department, we offer sound solutions to problems and are able to assist in making necessary changes.

A constructive maintenance audit is important for several reasons : (1) it gives upper management an objective look at how a maintenance department is performing, (2) it provides a clearer perspective far beneath what appears on the surface, (3) it offers solutions to eliminate problem areas, (4) it provides insight to help head off potential problems, and (5) it answers the question "should we own and maintain our equipment?".

RMS International, Inc.'s constructive audits are designed to gather facts.  Comprehensive audit questions are developed for your maintenance department to get the information necessary to build a complete picture. (We don't use a cookie cutter approach)  Objective observation, backed by 31 years experience in fleet maintenance, supplies most of the answers.

RMS International, Inc. stands ready to carry out the initial step in upper management's quest for an efficient maintenance department -- by performing a constructive maintenance audit

Lease Audit

Still trying to choose the right track? If your company has leased equipment for the last three years, you are a good candidate for a lease audit.  An aggressive audit of your leasing company's agreement and invoices can uncover money paid unnecessarily by your company.  This money may have been over billed or should never have been billed, usually due to an oversight by the leasing company.  However, it's your company's money.

Let us spend "our time" to see if there is any money to be put back to your bottom line.  Our staff of auditors have many years of experience working for leasing companies, they know where and how to look.

There is no cost to your company for conducting an audit of your lease agreement and invoices.  You only pay a percentage of the refund, if and when you collect from the leasing company.

While we are at the task of conducting an audit, we can also look at your lease to see if there are any areas that should be re-negotiated to reduce the cost of leasing.  At the least, you can better determine if leasing is right for your company.
